Czech Republic Road Taxes
New road tax in the Czech Republic from 1/1 2007
Like many other countries, the Czech Republic has imposed a road tax for heavy vehicle traffic. The road tax is being imposed to finance the increased costs that are incurred due to increased road loads and to enable additional investments in traffic environment.
The new road tax will impact all lorry traffic to and from the Czech Republic, as well as traffic that travels via the Czech Republic to countries such as Romania, Bulgaria and the Balkan states.
